Who invented press-on nails?

The concept of press-on nails was first introduced in the 1950s, although it's unclear who exactly is responsible for their invention. During this time, dentist Frederick Slack and his wife discovered that the materials used in Slack's work could also be used to create press-on nails, which they called Nu Nails. Around the same time, Lee Pharmaceuticals began selling their own version of press-on nails, which they called Lee Press-On Nails. Lee Pharmaceuticals is typically credited as the inventor of this manicure technique, as their product was already successful on the market by the time Slack began selling Nu Nails.

Today, press-on nails come in a variety of styles and designs. At Nailzzes, we offer a wide selection of press-on nails to fit any occasion or personal style. Check out our latest offerings and discover the perfect press-on nails for you!
